How It Works
- Each layer of a 3D print is projected into a bath of UV curable resin using HD DLP projectors.
- As the resin cures, the object is built, top-down, layer by layer.
- The build plate lowers incrementally from the top of the resin surface into the vat, before the projectors harden these layers with beams of light, allowing further layers to be added.
- Gizmo 3D’s unique technology suspends the 3D printed object inside the vat as it is being printed, which minimizes stress on the object. This means one can often get away with having less supports on the model and achieve a finer level of detail.
- When the print is completed, the build plate lifts it out of the resin – And then comes the WOW moment… When you see your design come to life!

A: Our customisable printing software gives our users both flexibility and ability to fine tune settings that will shape the final prints.

Q: “What is the minimum amount of material needed to make a print, e.g. 1mm thick?”
A: We have many different vat sizes. The smallest vat is 85 x 48 x 50mm and it needs 700ml of resin to fill. The next size up is 200mm x 113mm x 130mm which needs 7L to fill. The biggest vat you can install in a GiziMate is 400mm x 225mm x 260mm which requires 33L to fill.

A: 110V or 220V. We configure the printer for your country. Only the thermostat needs a specific voltage. The other power supplies switch automatically.
